THE SECRET OF SUCCESS? ACTING IS ONLY HALF THE JOB
Every parent wants to help their child fulfill their dreams and achieve their creative potential. For the young actor, the parent’s role must be all-encompassing. From being an “acting coach” to a professional liaison, the parent sets the tone for every professional experience, and is ultimately responsible for building and maintaining the child’s professional relationships.
The problem is that most parents are not professionally trained for the true demands of the job. Even the best intentions cannot provide the competitive edge that most parents want for their children.
That is why parents of young actors need professional-level, experiential training that will have them working in partnership and in real time with their child. For best possible professional outcomes, parent and child need to be trained as a team.
A COMPREHENSIVE CHILD-PARENT PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM
About the program:
Building a Dream Team: Revolutionizing the Way Young Actors Achieve Their Dreams is a one-of-a-kind professional development opportunity expertly designed and delivered by Kristin Tanzer (performance coach/educator) and Randi Glass (Casting Director).
Using our extensive experience in training both adults and young actors/children, we have crafted this highly specialized program. This program offers four-months of continuous training that provides participants with the essential skills and tools they need to gain a competitive edge.
What is truly revolutionary about this program is that we are developing/training the parent and child simultaneously. The ultimate goal is to empower parents and children as effective (and loving) creative and business partners.

Parent and child will gain a shared technique for outstanding on-camera work
Parent and child will develop a meaningful creative bond that will bridge to a positive, enjoyable professional relationship together
Parents will learn vital communication skills enabling them to build better relationships with their child’s manager/agent and other professional contacts
Parents will learn to maintain poise and control, even in challenging interpersonal situations
Parents will gain stronger listening skills
